"Deep ruby color. The wine is concentrated both in color and texture in the glass. It is bright and opaque due to the density of color. Notes of very ripe jammy fruit - blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries, cherries and damson plums. Subtle and appealing toasted aromas with hints of coffee and pencil lead. Notes of spices follow, but are well blended and include pepper, cinnamon and lastly, cacao, adding further to its growing complexity."
